Bay Area Updates: April

Check your inboxes the April Student Newsletter is out now!

Missed it? No problem check out the full newsletter below!

The last month has been a rollercoaster…

…and we’re sending good vibes to all of you. Our thoughts are with our Asian, Asian-American, and Pacific Islander community members in the wake of violence and hate. Our thoughts are with our Black community members as we mark the one-year anniversary of Breonna Taylor’s being shot by police and as we receive daily updates on the trial of Derek Chauvin, the police officer who killed George Floyd. And our thoughts are with everyone whose lives are affected by gun violence and the threat of gun violence.

In these times we look for joy and hope, and right now we’re finding it in widespread vaccinations: In the Bay Area, anyone over 16 is now eligible to receive a COVID vaccine! Find a site for yourself or a family member here! We’ve also just celebrated International Trans Day of Visibility. You can learn more and support the Equality Act here.

Remember that your PM and your volunteers are here for you ❤️
